Abusua FM Set to Start Soon In Kumasi

Reliable Sources Reaching ghmediafillas.blogspot.com indicates that Excellence In Broadcasting (EIB) Network, the media company owned by former Finance Minister, Dr. Kwabena Duffour, and Nathaniel Kwabena Anokye Adisi (Bola Ray), will soon come up with a New Radio Station in Kumasi. We can exclusively disclose that the name of this Radio Station is Abusua FM. 

Close Sources says the name, Abusua is a small town near Kumawu in the Ashanti Region and that is hometown of Dr. Kwabena Duffour.

ghmediafillas.blogspot.com understands technicians and technical experts from EIB technical department are currently in Kumasi fixing equipment and putting finishing touches to the studios and that Test Transmission is expected to begin in the coming weeks. 

Abusua FM will be operating from the Premises of Ultimate FM at Danyame in Kumasi. It is mainly to target the Local Audience in Kumasi. Abusua FM as the new name stands, will compete in the Twi-speaking, mass market demographic. 

Close Sources also indicate that Abusua FM will operate on the Frequency, 96.5FM.

EIB Network operates Starr 103.5 FM, Live 91.9 FM, Kasapa 102.3 FM, GHOne TV, Agoo TV all in Accra, Ultimate FM (Kumasi), Agoo FM (Nkawkaw), and Empire FM (Takoradi). Three new radio stations are coming up in Tamale (Super FM), Cape Coast, Koforidua,  in the next few months. The group also owns The Daily Heritage Newspaper.
