Fati Shaibu-Ali and DJ Advicer to host Ghana Fashion Awards '16

This year’s Ghana Fashion Awards, which comes off this Saturday November 19 at the Mercedes-Benz Showroom, Silver Star Tower – Accra, will be hosted by two talented

on-air personalities of the Global Media Alliance Broadcasting Company fraternity, Fati Shaibu Ali of e.TV Ghana and Happy FM’s DJ Advicer.

The event seeks to help build the fashion brand in Ghana and also celebrate photographers, fashion designers, accessory makers, stylists, models and celebrities among others. Most importantly, it provides a platform for the fashion industry players to share ideas, network and to celebrate the Ghana fashion industry.

Fashion designers and personalities will be awarded on the night for their contribution in various fashion categories including: Best Designer of the Year, Emerging Designer of the Year, Male Model of the Year, Female Model of the Year, Accessories Designer of the Year (Jewelry and Beads Category), Accessories Designer of the Year (Hair Bands, Shoes, Bags Category), Fashion Photographer of the Year and Celebrity Fashion Icon of the Year.

Fati Shaibu -Ali who is currently the news editor of e.TV Ghana last co-hosted the Ghana Most Influential awards whiles Happy FM’s DJ Advicer was the official DJ at the recently held Vodafone African Legends Night.

The Ghana Fashion Awards is supported by Happy FM, YFM, Silver Star Auto Limited Studio 7 Beauty Lounge, Mentos, DSG Model Management, Centric Styles, GTP, Zummo, Mabel Line, Dark and Lovely, Food 101.
