It's Official: Economic Policy analyst Patrick Stephenson Heads to GHOne TV


Young, astute development, finance and economic policy analyst, Patrick Stephenson
according MediafillasGh sources has officially joined EIB Network, GHOne TV.

Patrick holds a Master’s Degree Development Finance from University of Ghana – Legon, is a student member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana (ICAG), and a member (Director of Diaspora Relations) of the Young Professional Economist’s Network – global network of young African Economists providing new economic thinking for the socio-economic development of Africa.


With specialties, in econometric modeling, financial and industry based analysis, country risk analysis, policy evaluations for social impact analysis and evaluations, design of quantitative tools for analysis, financial modeling among others, Patrick’s passion for African development engineered by Africans has pushed him into the circles of public policy advocacy; demanding accountability and credibility from policy makers based on empirical research work undertaken.

He currently serves as the Director for Research and Finance at Imani Centre for Policy and Education – A Ghanaian based policy think tank ranked by the University of Pennsylvania as the second most influential think tank in Sub-Saharan Africa (2015), and the only African think tank to make the list of top 25 most innovative think tanks across the world.

He writes for major news paper and online journals about economic development in Africa, and is sought after by major TV and Radio stations (TV Africa, Ghana Broadcasting Television, TV 3, Business Television Africa, Joy News TV, Radio Univers, among others) for discussions on prime time programs relating to economic development, policy, governance and accountability in Ghana and Africa.
Patrick is the Chief Executive Officer of AFRINVEST LLC, an investment consulting firm, analysing and bringing to the fore key opportunities, components and sectors of the African Economy for both local and international investors, to drive the development of Africa. He is an adjunct lecturer in Fin. & Economics given spare time.
