HURRAY: Ace Broadcaster Kofi Appiah Celebrates His Birthday Today

Celebrated radio personality and news anchor, Joseph Kofi Appiah (popularly known in the media circles as Kofi Appiah) celebrates his birthday today - Thursday, August 4.

Wofa Kofi Appiah, as he affectionately called is arguably the best newscaster in the Ashanti Region as well as the country as a whole. He is the most experienced radio personality in the Ashanti Region and above all he is all round radio personality. 

His success on radio is because of his soothing and eloquent voice, and mostly as a result of his impartiality when it comes to political debates on his morning show. He neutralizes himself and makes time for all political parties to share their stories and gimmicks. He is known also in the media industry as “Radio Evangelist” because of the way he plays gospel music and gives inspirational messages on radio. 

The celebrated radio news anchor started his radio career in the mid 90s with Garden City Radio before joining Fox FM in 1999. He worked with Fox FM for 14 year before  finally made a move to Ejisu based Metro FM in 2013. Due to his exploits in the media industry he was poached after just 2 years at Metro FM to the Adum based Boss FM.

The celebrated news anchor cum radio morning show host is one of the most recognised media faces in the Ashanti region and would doubtless receive more platitudes as the day go by.

It can be recall that the ace broadcaster took over as the host of the morning show in July after the sudden exit of the former host, Kwabena Prah Jnr, Don Dada. 

He is on your airwaves with the one of the most-listened-to morning show in Oseikrom, “Good Morning Boss” on Boss FM, from 6.30am to 9.30am, from Monday to Friday.
