UMARU SANDA is GMAA 2017 Radio Personality of the Year

Broadcaster Umaru Sanda Amadu of Accra-based Citi FM was awarded Radio

Personality of the Year at this year’s Ghana Muslim Achievers Awards which came off last Friday, April 28 at the National Theatre.

Instituted to celebrate outstanding Ghanaian muslims across various spectrums of society, it also saw Abdul Moomin Hayyu (GTV), Hon. Mustafa Hamid, and 2nd Lady Hajia Samira Bawumia al walk home with laurels.

Senior Broadcast Journalist at Citi FM, Sanda is also producer of the station’s flagship Citi Breakfast Show, and comperes weekend political show Big Issues.

The Ghana Muslim Achievers Awards is powered by Sukra Concepts in partnership with the office of the National Chief Imam and Progressive Muslims.
