It's Official: Don Dada Leaves OTEC FM, Rejoins Boss FM




Host of Dwabirem, afternoon current affairs discussion programme on OTEC FM, Kwabena Prah Jnr. (popularly known as Don Dada) has officially joined the Kumasi-based, Boss FM as the new morning show host. 


The astute and experience Political Show host replaces Oheneba Nana Asiedu who left the station few days ago.  It could be recalled that the seasoned broadcast journalist formerly worked with Boss FM before joining OTEC FM.


Kwabena Prah Jnr, former host of Dwabirem on OTEC FM, without doubt is one of the most Listened -to radio presenters in Kumasi. His exceptional delivery and deep knowledge about current affairs, economic social and political issues are, in fact making him the toast of many radio stations in the Ashanti Regional Capital.

Don Dada, as he is well known completed "Rabodef"(Tommy Annan Forson's radio school) and then proceeded to the Ghana Institute of Journalism GIJ where he finally attained a Diploma in Journalism. After hustling for some time he eventually had a job at Radio Mercury where he hosted the morning show for three years. He then relocated himself after the three years at Kessewaa Radio for nine months and here he presented the midmorning program. Don Dada again wanted more working experience so he flew to Nananom FM, a sister station of Angel FM located in Goaso.

 For the three years in radio presentation he was able to sweep away the over all best media practitioner in the Brong Ahafo Region for 2006-2007. He embarked on a two-week course programme with the media in Cairo, a program organized by Newmont Ghana Gold and sponsored by African Origin.

He was about to sign his gig with the management of Angel group of companies when the Chief Executive Officer of F. Giant Broadcasting Limited, Francis Kwabena Poku popularly known as Afro or Franco Capitola noticed the potentials and talent possessed by the enterprising political show host and made a fast move ahead of the others.  At Fox FM, Don Dada was the host of the political program "Hard ball" and also paired with Captain Smart on the morning show and  slotted in from Thursday to Saturday.

From Fox Fm, he crossed carpet to Boss FM where  Don Dada worked to the dynamism of the radio station lifting the station's image to it's heights and later moved to OTEC FM to host Dwabirem.

Aside his radio presentation career, he also runs his own entertainment firm called "Fire House Entertainment Crew" where they organize events and also the organizers of the annual Bob Marley concert in Kumasi.
