A Feel & Look Inside Dr. Kwaku Oteng's Pure 95.7FM

Pure 95.7 FM which is part of Dr. Kwaku Oteng’s Angel Group of Companies and

operates under Angel Broadcasting Services is set to take off soon in the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi after 7 months of test transmission.

Pure FM  is set to compete in the Twi-speaking, mass market demographic and will cover programmes such as politics, sports, business, entertainment, motivation etc., located around the Babayara Sports Stadium.

Information available to GHMEDIAFILLAS.blogspot.com indicates that radio listeners in the Garden city should expect that Pure FM will soon take a full flight in terms of content/programmes and also, to capture in high quality the ambience of where the magic is currently happening. Pure FM promises to become an industry leader, powered by its host of great presenters to be acquired. Close sources also reveal Pure FM would pick most of its programmes (news and morning shows) from its sister station in Accra, Angel 102.9FM, which is yet to roll out its programmes. 

Deep throat source report  has it that  the Kumasi based station is obviously in talks with some big name presenters in Kumasi (and a few more are yet to sign whose names are yet to be publicised), Time will definitely tell.

The CEO, Dr. Kwaku Oteng owns a number of business interests including Angel Broadcasting Services which operates Accra based Angel TV, digital television station as well as a good number of commercial radio including: Angel 96.1FM (Kumasi), Angel 102.9FM (Accra), Angel 92.3FM (Sunyani), Cheers 100.5 (Sunyani), Cheers 94.5 (Koforidua), Angel 96.9FM (Tamale) and O 107.7FM (Obuasi). Angel Group of Companies also owns Angel Herbal Industry, Angel Natural Mineral Water, Angel Transport and Trading Limited, Angel Gold Mining Company, Adonko bitters, Angel Educational Complex and Angel Estates and Construction Limited all based in Kumasi.
