Stalwart Sports Journalists, Osei Akoto Isaac (popularly known in the media circles as Kanu) and Kwabena Obeng Afriyie (affectionately known as OB Thrice) will join Tobinco's Kumasi based Agyenkwa FM, ghmediafillas.blogspot.com can exclusively confirm.
According to our sources, deal has now been finalized, we can now disclose that the two sports journalists will switch camps to Agyenkwa FM 101.9FM.
The two, Osei Akoto 'Kanu" is an astute sports anchor and the head of sports at OTEC FM whilst Kwabena Obeng Afriyie is an energetic sports pundit with Metro FM all based in Kumasi. These two sports presenters have been extremely outstanding for the past years in their career.
Kanu's radio journey started in the Brong Ahafo Regional capital with Sunyani Polytechnic's Campus Radio Station Parrot FM from 2007- 2010, moved on to the Western Region specifically to join Bibiani based Adehyie FM from 2010-2013 and moved back to Sunyani to join Ark FM then to Storm FM before moving to Kumasi to join OTEC FM in 2014. Unlike OB, it can be recalled that he worked with Kapital Radio, Takoradi based Sky Power FM before joining Metro FM in 2013.
Agyenkwa FM operates under Jam Media Group owned by Samuel Amoh Tobin, Chief Executive Officer of Tobinco Pharmaceuticals Company Limited.
