Ownership of Takoradi-based Radio

The station, which started about a year
ago, has been acquired by EIB Network, Africa’s leading media
group headed by Dr. Kwabena Duffour and Nathaniel Kwabena Anokye Adisi. The
newly acquired property was formerly owned by the successful local business
story headed by Businessman, Roland Agambiri, founder and Chief Executive
Officer of Rlg Communications (Ghana) Limited falled under media
group, Evolution Media Group (EMG).

is a hundred percent takeover, we can also tell you. It could be recalled that its
Accra based radio station; Radio 360 102.1FM has already been acquired by this
same media group some few weeks ago.
Workers at the station have been officially informed of the
new arrangement.
A deep throat source close to our outfit has it that the
newly acquired station will soon roll out its programmes and will
operate in the mass market with programming mostly in Twi.
EIB Network's other investments include GH One TV,
Starr FM, Kasapa FM, Ultimate FM, Empire FM, Abusua FM, Agoo FM, Agoo TV, and
the Daily Heritage newspaper.
