gets his first television shot with the Challenge which is in its fourth year

seeks to reward local mobile application developers.

MTN
says this year’s competition will be heavy on Internet of Things (IoT) apps
that address local problems and help play an important part in the daily mobile
life of the 7,958,675 people who use the internet in Ghana.
Awards
will go to winners in the I0T, Mobile Apps and Animated Videos categories with
the overall winner taking home some 300, 000 Cedis in cash.
The
competition will air on EIB Network’s GH One TV, Media General’s TV3 and
Multimedia Broadcasting Company’s Joy Prime beginning March.
A
young broadcaster with a successful local media story to his credit, he has
played an important part in the upward growth of CITI FM’s Morning Show over
the last three years after he joined the station from Ultimate Radio (now
Ultimate FM) in Kumasi.
Previously, Boateng worked at the KNUST campus-based Focus
FM as well as Kapital
Radio, all in Kumasi.
The #MTNAppsChallenge Version 4.0 TV Series is an initiative
of MTN Ghana.
