After hosting campus Base TV for 4 years, Jay Kojo Daasebre
(popularly known in
showbiz circles as JKD has quit), ENEWSGH can confirm.
The lively
presenter, since his days as a student of the University of Ghana, has been
serving the Ghanaian populace, especially tertiary students, with TV content
dedicated to all facet of campus life on his TV show called Campus Base TV.
He is
currently the host of E Xtra, an entertainment magazine show which airs on
Saturdays between 2pm and pm on Accra’s newest addition 93.1 Mhz..
He has
interviewed several celebrities since bursting onto the media scenes.
Born to
Ghanaian parents on July 22, 1991, in the Republic of La Cote D’Ivoire, Jay
Kojo Daasebre started his education at an English school in La Cote D’Ivoire
called Morning Glory International School. But he later had to relocate
to Ghana with his parents due to the political violence in La Cote D’Ivoire at
the time.
Upon arrival
in Ghana, JKD continued his education at the St. Theresa’s Primary School,
where he completed his primary school education. He later went to Akosombo
International School (AIS) and Ofori Panin Senior High School were where he had
his Junior High School and Senior High School education respectively. In 2014,
he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in French and Linguistics from the
University of Ghana.
