DJ Murphy Lee Denies Any Links with Angel FM

The award winning entertainment show host of Sunyani based Storm 101.9fm, Nana Kwasi Boateng Murphy popularly known as “DJ Murphy Lee” or “The

Grandmaster of Showbiz” has quickly denied rumours that he will be joining Kwaku Oteng’s Sunyani based Angel FM.

He made this disclosure to MEDIAFILLASGH.com in an exclusive interview with him Friday afternoon.

“I am not talk with any radio station at the moment.  I am just focused on working closely with my management of Storm 101.9FM,” he said. 

He added although he has not been approached by any radio station, he is ever ready to work with any other radio station if asked for his services.

“I cannot mention the stations, but I am not linked with any,” he said.

Grandmaster sparked speculations this week just after he was crowned as the Best Entertainment Show in the Brong Ahafo Region by Foklex Media Productions (organizers of Foklex Media Awards.) for the second year running last weekend.

After winning from the same category last year, Entertainment Extra was able to maintain its bragging rights as the Best Entertainment Show in the Brong Ahafo Region at the 2016/2017 Foklex Media Awards which took place at the Golden Tulip Hotel  in Kumasi on April 2, 2017.

He also won the Best Mid-Morning Show Host in the Brong Ahafo Region.
