REVEALED: Kwabena Duffour and Bola Ray's EIB Network Acquires FIESTA TV


The latest in the series of strategic acquisitions by EIB Network is Fiesta TV.
The fast growing media group headed by ace broadcaster; Nathaniel Adisi, popularly known as Bola Ray, according to a report by ghmediafillas.blogspot.com has acquired Fiesta TV, the Accra based entertainment television station owned by an iconic Ghanaian filmmaker, Abraham Ohene Djan, chief executive officer of Ohenemedia.


Fiesta TV is Ghana’s first local music-dedicated channel which operates on GOtv, DSTV and Ghanaian digital television platforms.
The channel is purely dedicated to music lovers with the best in Ghanaian music from all genres such as Hip-life, Gospel, R&B, Ghanaian Rap, Twi Pop, High-Life, Azonto, Contemporary High-life, Reggae, Afro Pop, and traditional Ghanaian on a 24/7 basis. The channel which also treat viewers to an exciting mixture of new and existing music videos from popular homegrown artists, VIP events, chart shows, exclusive interviews, behind-the-scenes videos, profiles of their favourite artists and dance oriented programs such as Fresh, On the Verge, The Video Chart Show and Inspired.
ghmediafillas.blogspot.com sources have it that this channel would specifically be dedicated to the presenters of Live FM, and that its content would be 100% entertainment.
EIB Network has gradually and very boldly made a mark in the media landscape through the creation of Starr Fm, the acquisition of Live Fm, Kasapa Fm, GHOne TV, Agoo TV all in Accra. Outside Accra, the company owns Ultimate FM and Abusua FM (Kumasi), Agoo FM (Nkawkaw) and Empire FM (Takoradi) and the Daily Heritage Newspaper.
The change of ownership is expected to be made official very soon.
