EXCLUSIVE: Silver FM finally migrates to 98.3FM

As earlier advertised, Bantama based Silver FM finally migrated from 91.1FM to
98.1FM Friday afternoon, ghmediafillas.blogspot.com can authoritatively state.

New social media handles of Silver 98.3FM

At exactly 14.00GMT (2pm), Silver 98.3FM came on air as King Eben as well his sports crew were the first to speak on the frequency. There were series of phone-ins which came from all over the country including the Central, Brong Ahafo, Northern, Western and Eastern Regions. Technicians at the station also promised to switch from the current transmission which is a bit smaller to bigger one by next week so that listeners would get clearer signals all over the country.  

This action taken by management was as a result of frequency jam on the 91.1FM. 

Mampong based Mighty fm operates on that same frequency 91.1FM and that residents in and around Asante Mampong find it difficult to get the reception of Silver FM.

Silver FM is owned by Batamahene, Nana Owusu Amankwatia VI (known in private life as Sylvester Owusu Asare), Chairman of Silvercrest Company Limited and a former CEO of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club.
