that senior sports
broadcaster and sports editor at Accra based Atinka FM, Kofi
Asare Brako popularly known as "Abatey" or otherwise known as "The Patron" has
been appointed as the acting General Manager of the station.
Abatey, a known name on mass radio joined the
Tobinco-owned radio station from Multimedia Broadcasting Company. He spent time
on Adom FM before being moved to Asempa FM. The award winning sports broadcaster moved to Multimedia Group from Despite Group's Peace FM, where he worked for 9 years.
Kofi Asare Brako replaces the substantive General
Manager, Mr. Albert Kwabena Dwomfour who was relieved of his post
by management of the station after he was arrested by the executive chairman
of Tobinco Group of Companies, Samuel Amoh Tobbin for an alleged fraud claims few weeks ago.
Atinka FM, a subsidiary of Jam Media Consult, a parent company
of Agyenkwa FM based in Kumasi and Ahoto FM in Takoradi.
