Sports Journalist Desmond Decker accuses fellow aspirant of plagiarism

A 24-year-old journalist with Accra-based Class91.3FM, Desmond Decker, who picked up forms to contest in the Council of State elections slated for February 9 has
accused a colleague aspirant by name Kwame Agyei Damptey in the Greater Accra region of plagiarism.

Kwame Agyei Damptey has been accused of copying the tagline of the young sports journalist which is act of plagiarism and must be condemned.

In an exclusive interview with GHMEDIAFILLAS.blogspot.com, the young sports journalist disclosed that it is with great displeasure and distaste as a member running for the mandate of the people will start by plagiarizing my tag line: Life is a purposeful action.

“I wish to state that I am not happy with the action of  Kwame Agyei Damptey and this shows gross incompetence and lack of mental fortitude to hold the office as council of state member. Keep supporting my quest to represent you as a member of the Council of State. We are determined to give off our best”, he added.
