Broadcaster journalist resigned from Class
Media Group-owned radio station, Class FM
Wednesday January 5, 2017. The broadcaster replaces Francis Abban who has since
left Multimedia for EIB network’s GH One TV. He announced his presence at Joy FM when he read his first mid-day
news on Thursday, January 5, 2017. Aside taking
the role as the mid-day News anchor on Joy 99.7FM, the broadcast journalist could
also be hosting Pulse, a news analysis programme on the Joy News channel on
Multi TV.
Prince Minkah brings to four the number of
people who have left Class FM between December and now.
Prince
Minkah is a dedicated and fervent broadcast journalist who has been in the
industry for the past ten (10) years. He has worked with radio stations such
as Ahenemma Radio (now Akoma FM), Boss FM, Citi FM and Pravda
Radio.
The broadcast journalist once worked as a news editor and news anchor at Joy News on Multi TV before joining Ultimate 106.9 FM, a component of Excellence In Broadcasting (EIB) Network as the host of the ‘Ultimate Breakfast Show’.
His first TV experience was at TV Africa, where he worked as
News Anchor and A Reporter. Driven by the passion to tell the African story on
a global platform, Prince Minkah is humbled by each achievement that comes his
way every day.
An Old Student of Kumasi Academy and Ghana Institute of
Journalism, Prince thrives on excellence which is embedded in the values he got
from journalism school.
He hopes to one day walk in the shoes of the late Ghanaian
BBC presenter, Komla Dumor.
