Its a new year and surprises are all set for the
entertainment industry – one of which is the move of Samuel Atoubi Baah,
popularly known as Sammy Flex from PLuzz FM to
Okay 101.7FM, a subsidiary of
the Despite Group of Companies.
In a shocking announcement, host of Okay FM ‘Evening Drive’,
Abeiku Santana told listeners that, Sammy Flex is one of new additions to the
station – www.ghmediafillas.blogspot.com can authoritatively state.
Sammy is yet to return with his posse to AM Pluzz after the
christmas holidays.
Sammy’s new role will be on Santana’s Drive show, where he
would have a slot to discuss showbiz issues, provide entertainment titbits and
do interviews with high-profile personalities. His slot is on Mondays to
Fridays.
This move brings to an end, Sammy’s historic relationship
with Pluzz FM and what they churned out- AM Pluzz, the first entertainment
morning show in the capital. His new destination is at the Shiphouse at Abeka
Junction.
Sammy Baah who had been off air for while due to an ongoing
restructuring at Pluzz FM in a post on Facebook explained the need not to keep
mute over ongoing issues since it would be unfair to those who follow him.
According to him, the station was being relocated to the
West Hills Mall and was also “going through managerial restructuring”.
Sammy took to his facebook wall Tuesday and wrote this:
'I am sure it will be bad to those who follow me if I keep
quiet on this and again to reduce the number of calls on my fone concerning AM
Pluzz, you need to know this. Simple and straight information to those who care
to know. "Pluzz fm" is currently relocating to the West Hills Mall
and also going through managerial restructuring so my programme is on hold
until further notice. I am sure to inform you again when the next decision will
come up. Thanks to all those asking about..."
It is uncertain what would happen to AM Pluzz and which new
personality would take over from him.
