AUDIO: Prez. Mahama will poll 44% in the 2016 Elections - Radio Presenter predicted

Radio morning show host, Nana Abuprah of Konongo based Kings 100.3FM predicted that the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) three time presidential candidate, Nana Addo
Dankwa Akufo-Addo will win the 2016 elections. The radio presenter made this revelation on Kings Radio on the 30th of August 2016.

It can be recalled that Nana Addo lost the 2008 elections to the late John Evans Atta Mills and 2012 elections to President John Dramani Mahama.

However the radio morning show host predicted 44% of the valid votes for the presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) and the President of the Republic of Ghana, President John Dramani Mahama.

“Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will win the elections; everyone should record him well and that People should take note of the date that I made this revelation …President Mahama will lose this year’s elections”

The radio presenter made this declaration was based on percentage reduction of incumbent presidents from the Jerry Rawlings government in 1992 through to the Kufuor era who went for a second term in office. He firmly made his analysis that "Rawlings won his first term in office with 58.4% of the votes in 1992 but won his second term with 57.4% in 1996. However John Agyekum Kufour won the 2000 General elections with 56.9% and also won his second term in 2004 by 52.45%. John Evans Atta Mills also won his first term in the 2008 Elections by 50.23 but unfortunately could not go for a second term as result of his demise. President John Dramani Mahama took over and however won his first term by 50.7%. The fact is that there has been some reduction as far as percentage of incumbent president going for a second term and that he believes it would toll that same line in the coming elections".
