The management of
Viasat 1 wasted no time in announcing the replacement for Patrice Amegashie,
the longtime co-host of their morning show, ‘This Morning’ – who left the
station for the rejuvenated TV Africa.
The celebrated comedian, Derrick Kobina Boney (DKB), has been picked
as the immediate replacement to co-host the award-winning show with Kokui
Selormey.
DKB is not new to the slot, as he has guest starred as co-host for
many occasions and he is expected to settle in without much hustle.
This website can however not confirm if DKB’s new role on ‘This
Morning’ is temporal or permanent.
The comedian is also back at the station where he first hosted the
now-defunct magazine show, ‘Boyz-Boyz’ some years ago.
Over the weekend, Patrice Amegashie resigned from the Station and will
start working as the new head of Programs at TV Africa
