eTV Ghana, Citi FM collaborate on Election Day Coverage


eTV Ghana will in partnership with Citi 97.3 Mhz cover the 2016 Ghana elections from Wednesday through to the declaration of results by Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Charlotte Osei.
This special broadcast will begin on Wednesday December 7th when voting starts and will have the two media powerhouses merge resources to cover the elections on radio, TV and online across the country.
“With the aim of giving viewers of eTV an unparalled coverage of this year’s elections, eTV Ghana decided to partner with Citi FM because of their professionalism with which they have covered events leading up to the elections and the extensive network of reporters they have across the country”, Head of Brands and Communications for Global Media Alliance Broadcasting Company , Kwame Gyan disclosed.
“This collaboration will pave the way for us to merge resources to be able to touch base with all the 28,992 polling stations scattered around the country.”
Host of e.TV Ghana’s Breakfast TV, Bismark Brown, News Editor Fati Shaibu-Ali and Host of State of the Nation, Kwame Gyan will be expected to join the on air team of Citi FM for the broadcasts.
