Kencity Media Ltd. places GH₵10,000 Bounty on the missing Ashh FM journalist | Reward Now reaches GH₵20,000


The Management of   Kencity Media Limited officially announced on Wednesday 21st December 2016, the disappearance of one of its key Broadcast Journalists, Daasebre Adjei Dwamena who has been missing since the December 7 general elections.

The Management of Kencity Media Limited (Oman FM, Ashh FM and Net2TV) this morning Friday 23rd December, 2016 publicly announced it on air that the serious search for Daasebre Adjei Dwamena is still on and the media group has offered Ten thousand Ghana cedis (GH₵10,000) to be given to whoever assists the security agencies and the management trace the whereabouts of Daasebre Adjei Dwamena.

However, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of New Patriotic Party, Bernard Antwi Boasiako affectionately known as Chairman Wontumi earlier offered same amount, Ten thousand Ghana cedis (GH₵10,000) to the management also to be to be given to whoever assists them trace the whereabouts of the Kumasi based journalist. Therefore the total cash placed on the search of the Ashh FM journalist now amounts to Twenty thousand Ghana cedis (GH₵20,000) that is 200 million old cedis.

The journalist was scheduled to cover elections from the Bekwai Constituency and also took the opportunity to exercise his franchise at his hometown Akyeremade which is under the Bekwai Constituency. He did two reports on that fateful day to the station but after closing of polls around 5 pm his phones have been off till date ,he has since not returned either to his house nor workplace.
